Simple living and a birthday!!

Our life has been pretty simple lately. On those lamb days of March the girls and I played outside holding onto every last warm degree the sun offered us. And now we go outside for a wee bit and then flee for the indoors because I am a summer girl and I am reallllly ready for summer.

Every single day Natalie wears a costume. And if she doesn't wear a costume she wears a swimsuit. Not even lying. Needless to say, Natalie is also sick right now. Whether the lack of clothing and illness is related or not, I just plain ol' wish it would warm up and then I won't feel so awful about her wearing a bathing suit and leggings to...every where we go.

Puzzles, puzzles, puzzles. Our table has been covered in puzzles.
Who doesn't love a good puzzle?
(Oh, and notice Olaf in a pizza costume? That is his wedding suit. He and Natalie are getting married or were married or dating...depends on the day.)

Bored? Throw on a swimsuit, move the furniture, play some bouncy music!
Doctor recommended, mother approved.

I totally wish I had a puppy swimsuit.

April 4th brought Maddie's 1st birthday. She is our 4th daughter born on the 4th day of the 4th month. And she is 100% sweetie.
Maddie didn't quite understand opening gifts or eating cake but the whole family was quick to help her learn. She got the hang of it and is now prepared for more cake.

Things we are looking forward to (besides warmer weather)...
*Matt and his professional basketball career

*Super duper mini makeover of our outdoor space

*Planting flowers and fixing up flower beds

*Visiting Hickory Hills

*Watching Maddie learn to walk

*Making freezer meals so I can play outside when it warms rather than cook!!

*Reading. We have all been reading like crazy around here and we have stacks of books we still want to tackle.

I told ya. Simple living. It's the best way of life when you have four little girls.
