An absurdly long blog post of cool stuff...

Happy memorial day weekend to you. My hubs and I had planned to scrape, sand, power wash and paint the weekend away. The exterior of our house is in need of a weekend long dose of TLC but the weather has decided otherwise. Saturday we managed to scrape, sand and clean-up our lead paint disaster while mother nature attempts to complete the power washing for us. So while we wait for the lightening to clear I thought why not put together a blog post full of pictures I have been collecting.  One cool morning CJ dressed herself in a swimsuit, I dragged out the trampoline and a mirror and she spent a good long while watching herself perform tricks. It looked kind of fun to me too and I eventually begged for a turn but ultimately let her jump more than me. (Note: CJ was the only one in a bathing suit.) Looking at this collection of photos it is obvious I need to take more Kate pictures. I'm sure the ratio of CJ/Natalie to Kate photos will even out as school lets out and summer beg

The middle one...

CJ is a character and we love her to pieces.  She has a lot of dresses but what she has more of is goofy facial expressions. Here are the many faces of Claudia...   She talks out of the side of her mouth...a lot. She doesn't like to be interrupted during her flower/weed picking.  She can be so super sweet... ...and sometimes she is quite sassy. It is going to be an adventurous summer with this girl around!

Saturday morning...

It is an unusually quiet Saturday morning around here. The day began like any other with a kid waking with the sun. Since that early morning hour I have gone for a run, shipped off two girls for a birthday party and Matt is off golfing. Natalie is sleeping and I just finished off a plate of bacon, eggs, toast, two cups of coffee and I even had a little dessert. I'm a big breakfast eater, can ya tell?! (I did go for a lovely run this morning on the trails so I was ready for some food.)  I am soaking up the quiet this morning and thought why not pull together a blog post? So here we go... A couple of weeks ago the girls pulled out the garden hose and I dusted off my camera. I am overflowing with summer excitement. Pool time, no real schedules, park visits, bike rides, ice cream outdoors, porch swing (yet to be installed), family golfing, vacation, weddings, t-ball... I am really looking forward to it all. We will have bumps in the road for sure with three girls at thre

7 months...

The seventh month of life for Natalie was a big one. When month six rolled around Natalie was still baby like. Since then she has sprouted two teeth, rolls all over the house, sits up with occasional assistance, eats like a champ (as evidenced by her rolly polly thighs...which I LOVE!) and gets up on all four in preparation of crawling. I love this pic. This is pretty typical for Natalie. She looks around with a full-on open mouth smile while her sisters spin, jump, twirl, flop non-stop. Yep, it has been a big month for our youngest as she begins the gradual transition from infant to toddler.  I have a good feeling this girl is going to be just as wild, and just as fun, as her older sisters.  Our girls have spunk. We love you, Natalie! You continue to amaze us with your endless smiles and laid back attitude. I can't wait to see what you have in store for your eighth month!
