The girls and I watch Survivor together every Wednesday night. Well, Maddie doesn't. She prefers cartoon characters to people caught in the wild. Anyway, the other night our favorite person on Survivor was voted out unexpectedly and we were all very unhappy about it. Here's our staged reaction photo. :) This is the first year for Lego Robotics at the elementary school. CJ was one of the selected participants and she loves it with every bone in her body. The kids just got their team shirts and hats for their first ever showing/competition this coming weekend. CJ loves her team (and her team outfit apparently) so much that she took some selfies in her new gear. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of her hard work from the past several months on display this Saturday. They're the "Knight Owls" so their flat bill hats feature an owl. We are well into basketball season. Matt is coaching Kate's 6th grade team and beginning in January he will also coach CJ's 3rd grade team. Since Matt coaches Kate's team he has to be at every weekend tournament, which means Kate plays at every weekend tournament instead of playing in three a season like the other girls. It's fun to watch her play and we tour various school gyms.  Kate plays post and I love watching her block shots.  Matt surprised the 6th grade girls with new jerseys. The team was super excited!
